Item: hydraulic pump 4 lowrider hot rod custom hydraulics (7994847134)
This message was sent while the listing was active.

hey man not to be rude or nothing but that is either a gate pump or a pallet jack pump and they are very slow , i have been into lowrider hydraulics for over 14 yrs and we use those some times and they r very slow ! they will not hop nop matter what you do , they are good for the beginer that just wants to go up and down,
we have about 20 of the same type pumps layin around ,keep it on but i was just letting you know tis so you wont have a mad customer because the pump wont hop ,peace

well these are 24volt pumps , not the older 12 that you have , yes the 12 are slower, these also were redesigned for a larger cyclinder , so has you go down in size the speed goes up.. these are alot higher volume than the older ones..... no these are not major hoppers but they are alot more reliable, cheaper and better than some of the middle of the road automotive pumps

its worth 31 dollars, its just not really what you would want for a hopper. youd have to try it. if i had the money id buy all 4 cause they would come in handy!

ok heres the 2 replies i got from him when i sent him a note lol
just wanted to see what hed say

ok people are saying these wont hope , one more time- THESE ARE 24 VOLT 600-750 AMP PUMPS , TO MAKE THEM WORK FASTER AND HARDER YOU WIRE THEM AT 48 VOLTS BUT STILL 600 AMPS... SEE VOLTAGE IS PRESURE, NO THESE ARE NOT BETTER THAN COMPETION PUMPS BUT THEY ARE 1/100 THE PRICE AND 3 TIMES MORE RELIABLE....

for some reason he replied 2 times and he said this

first i didnt list them as hoppers, second these pumps are intended for
24
volts at 600-750 amps. if you lower the amps and raise the volts {
which is
how most hoppers get the pop they want} tend to burn armitures. i did
test
one of these on a buddies car the other day , we ran it in par on 24
volts
but with 2 750 amp batts, and it damn near ripped the mounts out of the
back
of the car so yes they can be made to hop.

another reply from him
you know it is funny , i am an electrical eng and you have no idea about
voltage. voltage is the pressure in the system, so the key is voltage not
amps, well at least with these pumps.. i have 8 of these and have started
plumbing these on a car , an older chevy coupe {rat rod}and they work very
well... see you are still thinking small time, car batts suck huge ass, they
have flat cells , their dischrage rate is so off from cell to cell, the lead
in them is cheap{ noramally recycled} , and the electron transfer is sooo
unpredicable is makes it hard to get the same from charge to charge... try
finding you some indust dry cell batts and try them .... but be careful your
pumps might freak with all the pop they give it

i guess since he is an engineer he should know that
we don't use regular car batts! im no engineer but i know the difference in hydro pumps and if i hooked 24v to a fat boy with a # 13 head in it ,it still would barely move the front of my car let alone freak over the pop that kind of voltage would give it.lol

hhaha another one...god he wont give up lol

you are small time ... just so you know i use all
industrial batts , and you are still talking "cold cranking amps" that is an
automotive batt, the batts we are using are 24 each and just a bit larger
than a standard car batt, you can have your 1000 plus amps , that does you
no good, but do what you want.... it wouldnt hurt for you to take a basic
electric class , then you will see the light and look at things very
different...

haha what a moron...i told him 24volts wouldt hop a volkswagon lol

It probably could if you stick a long ass cylinder under the car and start pushing it up with that pump at about 2" per second. What a dumbass. :uh:
