hoe can i take the clutch off my york w /o messing up the bearings? i think i messed mine up because it sounds like shit when disengaged. my 209 blows alot of oil too, i even pluged the oil passage. anyways, i grabbed a10 today out of a volvo for 25$. how can i not mess up the ckutch bearings? is there a special puller?

there should be threads on the ID of the clutches bore...
I dont know the size/pitch of these threads, but if you find the correct bolt, you should be able to thread it into the clutch and push the pump shaft out..

go to the hardware store and get a 5/8" course thread bolt. thats what you need to take the clutch off. thread it in a;; the way and then take a screwdriver or small prybar and carefully pop if off. I can get them off in couple of minutes, they are easy. or go and spend $20 on a a/c clutch puller.

the first time i threaed a bolt in the end of the pump itself and put a block on each side of the clutch and poped it out. i think thats what messed up the bearings but im not sure. ill try the other way and see if it works.
