Ive had a go and it seems to have failed miserabley!!!!!

Ive ceen a few peoples ideas and some of them make sence others dont?

post your pictures up and solutions to a safe reliable macpherson strut

I used to sell reds sruts. Back inthe day people didn't want to Pay. we built them as needed :mad:

I built that setup in the Impala. The cylinder is 1.5" O.D. The tuning sleeve I used is 1.75" X .120" wall. That means that there is only .005" clearance. That is tight enough that I had to press the cylinder into the sleeve. There is absolutely no movement in them. I actually did that car before hydroholics was around.

What seems dangerous about it? There is nothing dangerous about how it is done. It is basically the same way I do them now with the hydroholics cylinders and sleeves. (basically the same way that artsar did his). There are more pics on the myspace page for the installs.
